Your second blog post should consider the suitability of your novel as a feature film. You might like to consider some of the following:
- Would it transfer well, with lots of action scenes, or would it be difficult to tell the story through film? Explain your viewpoint.
- Who would be the casting director's best choice for each of the main roles?
- Would the setting be easy to reproduce for a film? Why? Where would you shoot it?
- Do you see opportunities for the marketing team to make millions from the film? Does the plot lend itself to a game? Will McDonald's release a burger and toy? (The 'Cherub Burger' and action figure perhaps..?)
- Let your imagination free! What do YOU think? Would it be a film you would take your friends to?
